The average daily wage earner Bengali has not lost interest in the universe. Even today a Bengali father would show his child the various stars and constellations. Everyone wants to delve into the mysteries of the universe, don't they? Those dreams of touching the sky are being brought into reality by director Prosenjit Choudhury in his upcoming film "Din Ratrir Golpo". Arunima Chatterjee is on a secret mission from NASA but her parents do not know of it! When they are hell worried on not hearing from their daughter for 7 days they receive a strange telephone call. People from NASA are coming to convey news of their daughter. The mystery intensifies when they get to know that Arunima is the first person who is going to set foot on Mars. It is best not to reveal the rest! People would be stunned on the events that follow. Your eyes might be blinded by the intense glare of the Sun.

Arunima,
works in NASA, has not called home for seven days. Her parents receive a phone call from NASA
officials who pay them a visit. They are made to believe that their daughter is
on the way to Mars on a secret one-way mission.

In a stormy
night Suzan is sheltered by Rajat. His behavior is strange with weird habits.
He repeatedly talks about death and warns not to enter a particular locked
room. Out of curiosity she fearfully ventures to explore the locked room. She
is aghast to find human body parts hanging there. While face to face she pleads
for her life.
Both the incidents end with a different outcome. These two confessions of Suzan which are two different stories dealing with shades of death.
The narrative is of a dying Nun, confessing two secret incidents of her life both dealing with shades of death and at the same time celebrating the light of life. The first story is a space fiction and the second story is a psychological thriller.

Prosenjit
Choudhury is an independent film maker, writer, lyricist and music composer.
While studying MBBS in Calcutta Medical College he also got involved in little
magazine movements. His poems were published in many magazines including ‘Desh
Patrika’.
‘Dakbaksho’ was his debut film as a director. He also played the role of story writer, screenplay, music director and lyricist in this film. The movie ‘Dakbaksho’ got official selection in Chennai International film Festival, Bengaluru International film Festival, Mumbai 3rd Eye International Film Festival. Prosenjit Choudhury also got Mirchi music award for best upcoming lyricist.
‘Din Ratrir Golpo’
is his 2nd film dealing with shades of death.
Day and Night have merged into confluence under the craftsmanship of Prosenjit Choudhury and Supriti Choudhury who have written the story. Supriti's acting has also intensified the movie.
Producer's Statement
Supriti Choudhury is presenter, translator, Play Wright, script writer and drama artist in All India Radio. She acted in national award winning dramas like “ Batil Record” and “ Ekti Divorcer Golpo”. ‘Dakbaksho’ was her debut film as a lead actress.
After doing her master degree in English literature, she started her life
as a school teacher. As a poem reciter she gain popularity and leave her
teaching job and took recitation and programme anchoring as full time
profession. She engaged herself in T.V
anchoring and news reading.
In 2010 she joined All India Radio
as a drama artist and soon became a presenter of different radio
programmes. At present her voice is well
known for “ Pratyohiki” and “Ganer vela” which are very popular radio
programmes.
As a drama artist and voice artist she got numerous awards as best actress.
She started translating dramas from Bengali to English for All India Radio.
Her translated drama “Chandalini” got National Award.
She also engaged herself in creative writings. Her written Bengali Drama “
Aronyo Perie” is enlisted for teaching
in Rabindra Bharati University ;Department
of Drama. She wrote many Bengali dramas
which are acted in All India Radio. Recently she completed her English novel “The
First Rain” which is going to publish soon.
In ‘Din Ratrir Golpo’ she played
a role of a Christian nun,
Suzan, reminiscing over two deaths; one that filled her heart with light and
another that darkened her soul forever.
